I have friend who got engaged there. Then her sister in law got married there too. My friend (who was in the SIL wedding) said it was a great place and the wedding was great.

My mother was proposed to there! I was actually under the impression that it had recently been flooded? If not, great-I would love to go sometime 🙂

Actually I just looked it up-it was flooded but is now reopened! I’ve heard nothing but wonderful things about it

I haven’t been there myself, but I have some friends that go there every year on their anniversary because they say the food is to die for.  Hoping to get up there soon myself.  I’ll let you know when I do.

That’s our fave special occasion place and on the top of our list as to where to have our reception.

Don’t know the event pricing though.  It is gorgeous inside and out and the food is amazing.

We went to dinner there btw, the night we got engaged.  Right before we went back to T;’s place and he asked me in front of the Christmas tree.  Love Canoe!

I received a gift certificate for Canoe and have been dying to go!! Can’t wait to try it out.  It looks like it is a very romantic restaurant.

We did some research on it when we were looking at reception venues. It was quite expensive (IMO) but it also go RAVE reviews for its setup and food.

I think there is quite a bit of room, but for the most part I think it would be outside and tented.

Just a thought, We are having our reception at The Vinings Club (it’s just right up the road from Canoe) and its ammmazzing! The best views of the Atlanta Skyline. Lori is the wedding coordinator there and she is so awesome and it accomodates a ceremony and reception. It’s worth checking out! Good luck!

Canoe was one of our top two choices and we almost went w/them in the end for our reception, but we ended up with our other stand by favorite place…Wolf Mountain Vineyard!
