I am not engaged yet, but it is coming early next year so my bf gave me the ok to pick a ring now. Originally I saw this Tacori ring and fell in love. The center stone is round and the side stone are cadillac cut.
Then I went to another jewelry store and fell in love again. This ring is antique style and has a lot of detail. (so does the Tacori ring, but this one is different) I also like this one because it’s unique. I don’t think I would ever see someone wearing this exact ring. After finding this ring i think the Tacori ring looks plainer.
What do you ladies think?

Why don’t you give the two options to your FI and let him pick the one he thinks suits you best?

I love Belle2Be’s idea… leaves room for you to truely be surprised! Especially if you love them both 🙂

Belle2Bee FTW. That’s what I did. I gave my FI a wishlist and he picked the one he thought I would like best.

Sometimes I wish we could get both! I really love them both… but I think the second one is more unique. I really like it.

Are they similarly priced?
The antique setting is very unique. It’s a totally different look, than the Tacori, which looks like a three stone, with a bit of a halo around the centerstone.
I’ve heard that, because Tacori is a brand name, it will hold its value better. (something to consider if you think you might want to change your setting down the road).

@EleanorRigby: The antique style ring is 3,000 less.

I had a couple of rings that I loved as well, but when I saw my ring I knew it was The One. Maybe you should keep looking and find a ring similar to both?
I was starstruck when I met my ring and knew I couldn’t wear any others. (as corny as that sounds…)

@PinkMagnolia: I had the feeling that the second ring was THE ONE, but I had such strong feelings about the first one at the other store that now I’m confused. The more I think about them, the second ring cannot even be compared to how i feel about other rings–I think it’s the one I really want! Thanks!
