So I broke my options down to 2 settings. Both are Cathedral settings, problem is one is thinner than the other. From your opinions, which would be much easier to pair with a wedding band. Planning on getting a wedding band no larger than 2.5mm. Because my ring is a 4.5 and I am quite petite, I just dont want it to look bulky. I mean considering the size difference in the 2, is it going to be that noticeable. If you have pics of a wedding band or e-ring of either or better yet both sizes please SHARE Preferrably on size 4-4.50 fingers. Thank you!!!
I posted an everyday ring that I wear and it is a 2.8mm Tiffany Notes ring. Just to give you folks a better idea, Thanks so much for all your help and input bees

I would go with 1.8mm. My ring size is 4-4.5 and my bands are 2mm each and think it could have stood to be just a bit thinner. For me, I definitely would not have wanted it any wider (also partly because I feel like the main stone stands out more on a thinner band).

I’d go with the smaller one. Your fingers are little and they need a dainty little band, especially if you’re going to be pairing it with a band that is 2.5mm (which is a little large for a 4.5 finger size, IMO).

I would get the 2.5mm engagement ring and pair it with a 2mm wedding band, as I feel that combination compliments the e-ring more instead of detracting from it, not to mention the thinner the band, the more prone to warping over time, and if it is going to be 14k gold, will lose metal and likely need the bottom half of the shank replaced sooner rather than later if the band is thin.

My bands are right in the middle. They’re 2.2 mm each, and my finger size is 4.75. I hope this helps

I have size 4.5 fingers and I greatly prefer the 2.5mm! I tried a thinner band and it felt flimsy and the diamond rotated around on my finger too much. The 2.5 is wide enough to stabilize the ring, and it feels like nothing is on my finger at all.
My e-ring is 2.5 and my wedding band is 2.5.
