I’m so lost when it comes to picking a wedding band. My original thought was a very simple plain band the same thickness as my e-ring (2mm) – this is obviously the most affordable option, but I’ve since decided I’d like a little more sparkle. I love the curved band but don’t know how it would work with my e-ring (I posted about this before), I also really like the cathedral pave band, but it’s a bit more than we wanted to spend. Bees, help me choose!
Ring 1: plain white gold band (2mm)
Ring 2: Pave-set curved band (1.7mm)
Ring 3: Cathedral pave band (2.5mm)
Here’s my e-ring (.5 carat princess cut solitaire, 2mm band)

I like pave bands with plain-band solitaires. I think it’s a gorgeous combo. 🙂

I pretty much have the same e-ring as you and chose a plain white gold band; I like the simpler look and am happy with the choice I made! 🙂 However, I really think any of them would look gorgeous.

I absolutely love the plain white gold one, and i think it matches better.

I love the cathedral pave band, I’m looking at something similar for my wedding band.

I voted for the second one because, to me, it is more girly girl and I think that if it was me wearing it, it go perfectly with your ering 🙂

I vote for #2, but #3 is nice too, but I am biased, as I have a pave band 🙂 with my solitaire (which is exactly like yours, a princess cut with a 2 mm band). I also was looking at the curved pave band from Blue Nile, but ended up going with a straight pave band similar to #3 because I wanted to wear the wedding band by itself sometimes. When I chatted with the Blue Nile specialists, she recommended the curved band with the solitaire ring, so I;m sure it would work with yours. I say you should go with it if you love it! Good luck and please let us know what you choose 🙂

I think the second one is the most interesting, i’d go with that. The cathedral band looks like every other sparkley band, but ring #2 has a little something special about it.

Is this James Allen? I bought my ring from there. I loved #3 as my option for my 2mm solitaire. I haven’t purchsed yet but I am still looking at it.
Just in case you wanted to look outside of James Allen (if thats them! ^_^) I am looking at Shane Co and they have a large variety of bands. There is a slight curve they say will fit my band perfectly.

@adw2c: These are actually all from Blue Nile. My e-ring is from there and they often offer 10% off coupons and I love saving money, so I haven’t really considered buying elsewhere. I’ll probably go to a local jeweler to try different styles on and try to figure out what size band I need in order to wear both at once (I’ve read that I may need to go up a half or whole size to make it most comfortable) but we’ll likely buy from Blue Nile.

i like the 3rd one. The 2nd one might not be very comfortable if you wear it for a long time every day

Love the 3rd band, and I think it would look gorgeous with your e-ring!

I picked number 3. That way, if you ever want to wear just your wedding band, you can still have a little sparkle.
1 is too plain for me and and number 2 would have to be worn with your e-ring at all times because of the curve.

Oh ok!! Haha!! Maybe I am confused. I looked at way too many wedding bands. I ike bluenile so its probably going to be really nice. One thing I was concerned with their wedding bands was the quality of the diamonds. How are they?

I love both the second and the third band. I can’t pick!
