Hi Bees! I have a major dilemma on what dress to wear. I am getting married in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. It is a colonial historic town with beautiful landmarks and churches. The reception is going to be in an art institute located in the center of the town. What dress would be more appropriate? Please vote!
Blue Enzoani Elim dress with removable strap
Or Allure 8634 I dont have a picture of myself in this dress.

I really adore the second one!! However, have you tried a sash with the first one? It seems a little plain by itself

I love the first one. The strap may be detachable but the strap is what adds the wow factor to me.

they are both beautiful, i honestly think you can’t go wrong!

thanks! I have tried a sash with the first one but didn’t like any of the ones they had at the bridal shop.

Love #1 with the strap! I’ve seen #2 a million times over.

Both of these gowns are beautiful. However, in my opinion, the second gown is much too low cut, and I don’t think there would be an easy manner in which to fix this without significantly altering the look of the gown. I also think the Enzoani is the more elegant of the two dresses. So, I vote for Dress One based on these two reasons.

Do you have access to both of the dresses, or would you still have to place an order? Is your wedding infact July 28th? I know that my bridal salon told me the Enzoani lace dresses take a while to come in (6 months ish). But then again, I’m in Canada so it may be different. Just a thought. I was contemplating the Allure before and it wasn’t going to take as long… 🙂

I think the Allure might be more flattering in the hips & thighs, as it flares out a little more. The 1st dress I feel hits you a little low.

@MalbecMe: On the Elim dress I fit into the sample and I was the second one to try it on. I actually already have it on hold and have made a payment, but if I wanted to order it, it would have taken 3 months at the bridal shop I went to.

- Wedding: August 2012 - Historic Lougheed House
I like the 2nd one way better… but its more classic looking.. like in 20 years this dress could still be in style.
The first dress is more trendy. More fashionable. (i prefer classic)
