This is my first post here! 🙂
Ok, so my wedding colors are dark navy blue and white with little pops of light dusty rose pink (mostly just in the flowers). My bridesmaids are in long dark navy blue dresses and the groomsmen will be in the blue army uniforms.
I want to wear blue shoes, but I am having a very hard time choosing which ones! Do I stick with the dark navy blue shoes, or would a royal blue shoe have a fun pop to them when they contrast with all the dark blue around me?
Here’s what I’m interested in:
Or do I go with a completely different shade of blue (my necklace is aquamarine):
OH! And if it helps, here is a picture that is similar to my dress (it was a custom dress). My dress is pure white:

- Wedding: August 2013 - The Liberty House
I like the second one best

@QueenNester: I like the second one the best, too.
(Pssss… this is a great opprotunity for a poll!)

The Hangisis are a different look vs the rest. I saw them at Nordstrom 2 days ago and they looked more reserved. I know they are the “Carrie” shoe but I wasnt impressed. I like the 2nd pair or either pair of those Loubs. I love the bright blue Loubs the best!

@MexiPino: thanks I just added one! 🙂
And that’s funny that you both like the second! That was my first love, but then I started second guessing them because I didn’t like how dark the crystal piece is on these ones. haha

the sparkly loubitins are to die for! but probably extremely expensive, if that matters. They are my first choice for sure, followed by the second. Stick to navy or it might look like you were accidentally off.

I like # 2 best… but I might be biased because I’m wearing those in white for my wedding =)
I love the royal blue loubs with the bow, buttttttt I’d probably stick to navy for consistency.

@gelaine22: I haven’t seen them in person yet! If they were navy blue, I’d grab them up in an instant!! 🙂 They are pretty royal blue, aren’t they? No masking the color difference I guess… 🙁

Oh…this is tough. I love the Manolo Hangisis (the SATC movie shoe) and really considered them for my own wedding, before deciding I wouldn’t do coloured shoes. I think they’re really special. I also love the Louboutin bow D’orsays as well.
But, if you decide to go with navy, I think the glitter Loubs are gorgeous. 🙂

Shoe #2 is BAD TO The BONE!
I like the second dress. It is dark, seemed more elegant.

@QueenNester: they are royal blue but not
ETA: the jewels on them are actually a dark gray

Shoe two is GORGEOUS. It looks like the last one is the same shoe in a lighter blue. I like the darker one better, and matches your color scheme, but the lighter sounds like it would match your necklace? I think #2 is my vote, then #7

I love the lightblue shoes! It’s something I would wear too.
