My venue is a rose garden and my colors are blush and creams…just very “antique” looking. I want to take pics with parasols with my bridesmaids and I. This is my bridesmaid dress:
This is my dress:
Do you think it would be silly to have a light pink parasol for myself and ivory parasols for the girls?
Help me decide….please….I’m horrible with colors!

I like that idea. I always find it visually pleasing when colors mirror each other like that.

Can’t go wrong either way. (not helpful, hopefully comforting)

@AJester2: I think I’m just needing the comforting 😉 It’s the “ivory” and my white dress together in the same shots throwing me off. Fiance just gives the shoulder shrug when deciding colors lol.
I have a white parasol already I was going to use, but I guess I’ll just turn it into a ‘thank you’ or ‘just married’ one
Thank you, ladies!!

Oooh…I love that idea!! I think it will look so pretty to have a pink one for you and ivory for your girls! That way you don’t have to be so worried about the parasols “matching” the dress colors exactly…since they’ll just complement the pallet (if that makes sense!). 🙂

I love the idea and I think it will provide a nice contrast for both dresses.

Bumping this as I’ve changed my mind
You think it’d look nice if I used this white lace parasol
and my Bridesmaid or Best Man used these nude parasols:

I love the new options, the first pink seemed a little too bright, the nude is perfect though, and i love the lace one

So glad others agree. I’m just a very indecisive person!
