It looks like we’ve brought home a bit of a souvenier from our honeymoon!
I think I’m still in shock. We’d planned on waiting a few months, just to relax after the wedding craziness but looks like that’s not happening!
I can’t believe I never even got to post in the TTC boards. I’m 33, I thought this was going to take a long time! I was so worried I would have problems and Bam! first time every in my life not using some type of birth control I am pregnant!
We haven’t told anyone yet, but I had to get this out of me and since no one knows me here I thought this was a good place!
I’m not going to lie, I’m a little freaked out. I’ve never had a surgery, broken bone, serious illness, not even a stitch! So far I feel fine, is that normal?
I’m in the process of trying to find a Dr., because I don’t currently have one. Will they want to see me right away? Some things I’ve read say yes, others say they won’t want to see me until I’m 6-8 weeks. I have no idea what I’m doing!!!
We’re excited, just can’t believe it happened so easily!

Ahh, congratulations! We also got pregnant our very first time without birth control, it was exciting but still kind of a shock it was so fast!
It’s perfectly normal to feel, well, normal at this point in the pregnancy. Appreciate it while it lasts because naseau may hit pretty soon! Defintiely start researching what you want as far as what your insurance covers, what hospital you’d like to deliver at, ob-gyn or midwife, etc. Then call whoever you decide on and make an appointment! In my experience they won’t want to see you right away, but I’d make the appointment now because I was surprised at how fast they book up!

It’s pretty standard to wait until 8-10 weeks to be seen by a doctor. I was seen at 6.5 weeks, but I got pregnant on the pill and didn’t know how far along I was, so they wanted to see me pretty much right away to date the pregnancy. 8-10 weeks is normal, though.
