Ive searched high and low for a dress. I never like davids bridal and AA . Im looking for something that has a corset back.

I think ive tried on millions of dresses and the only one ive loved was Maggie Sottero Angelina... however its to much money. Im looking in the price range tops 7-800. :(

    Help anyone please??

how do you feel about used wedding dresses? if you dont care then u should try bravobride.com, preownedweddingdresses.com or oncewed maybe u can find one there. Or u can try a maggie store and see if they will sell u the sample gown

Try calling around for samples. I would refer you to the bridal shop that I got my gown at, but they aren't near you. I got a sample being discontinued Justin Alexander 8137 for $956.38 including alterations and the very fullest petticoat and tax. There is one out there for you. You just might have to try a few places before you find it. My alterations include hemming and putting in a corset back.

They have it on DHgate.com.  Found this one on there for $147.  It is a knock off of the gown, but a very cheap way to get the gown of your dreams

They have 100% feedback and you buy it through escrow...meaning you pay for it but they do not get the money until your gown arrives and you okay the final payment sent to them

I would try looking on e-bay. Or you can just google the style you are interested and see who has it for what price!

Have you tried getting a price quote from Netbride for that Maggie dress?  I ordered my Watters dress from them and got it for a lot cheaper than the bridal shops.

I have heard horror stories about foreign knock-offs. Even with a 100% positive rating, it depends on the buyer's expectations. If you really want MS Angelina, I sincerely doubt that DHgate's product will measure up. I agree with trying preowned sites. Also, I tried on more than one Maggie in the 700-800 range. I assume a lot has to do with location, but you could also try calling shops further away from you to see if anyone offers it lower. Then, you could try to get a local shop to price match or just buy it from the distant shop. You'd only have to go that far to buy it and pick it up; you could get alterations done near you.

My gown is by Sophia Tolli and almost all the sample dresses I tried on from her were corset backs. My dress was pricier at around $1200 but I'm sure there are many different prices depending on the dress.

Here is a list of shops in California. Good luck on your dress search!

Maggie Sottero has a sister line called Sottero & Midgley, which I am sure you already know. But her dress are usually cheaper than Maggie's and they have really similar designs.

Here is one that I tried on that is similar to the Angelina and it was about 700 I believe. I have pictures of me in it if you want to see it on a real person because it looks WAY different on that model.

have you tried an alchemy search on etsy?  you can often find someone who will make you the dress of your dreams for much less than you would spend on something already made (I sometimes wish I had known about this before I bought my dress!)

At the risk of becoming an evangelical Venus Bridal bride, give them a look. They have many corset-back gowns at very reasonable prices (mine was just $300 but looks more expensive). If you can, check them out at a local shop because their online pics do not begin to do them justice.

    Good luck!
