Me!!! I am sitting here and all I can think about is all of the details we have yet to finalize. I am kind of freaking out but have to pretend that I am keeping it all together so my boss doesn't catch on to my crazyness. And the worst part is that I have to get two major projects done before next Wednesday because that is my last day before the wedding!
me! I have less than a month and...well I find myself on Weddingbee instead of working. Oops!

It was actually better when I still had shopping, pricing and investigating to do. Now all I can think about is how my time would be better spent at home making a seating chart, etc!
I still have 5 months to go and all I can think about is the wedding. I need to find a way to refocus on the job :(. It is just not as fun and I even buy clothes for a retailer for a living. :)
I have no idea what I am going to do when this wedding is over... all i do is think about it. I am at work actually working on my DIY.. lol
Yes today while in surgery (I am a second year family practice resident) I was day-dreaming about the wedding. Wow that sounds bad, but I wasnt doing any cutting! I was able to focus when I did the stitching!
Yeah! I just finished finals so I'm officially done with college now, but it was so hard to stay focused these last few weeks! But now I feel free to 100% get this wedding planning finished because I don't start work until June.
Yes, I'm not even getting married until July and clearly this is what I am focusing on (obsessing about) ;)

I haven't been able to concentrate on work since the beginning of April! Yesterday, one of the attorneys I work with asked if I was having trouble focusing on work because the wedding is so close. She said that when she started at this firm, her wedding was 2 months away and it was a total waste for her to start working then! haha She had wedding brain the whole time! I was happy to hear that I am not alone and that people are not expecting too much from me right now! hahaha
I'm so excited for us all - it's finally our month and I can't WAIT ladies!!!!
Me!! But my lack of concentration has more to do with me not liking my work right now! lol. I can't begin to imagine what I'll be like when our wedding date comes nearer
My daughter is getting married on May 29. She is a 2nd year law student and I thought she was doing well until she sent me this text this morning, -
"Worst dream ever last night! Everything went wrong for the wedding. I woke up late, got to the church late which by the way was the old movie theater in the mall that our church started in, My dress had been on display with yours and Emily's (we are the moms) so dad pulled it down and passed it back so 90 million people touched my dress. Then you wouldn't let me shower because everyone was waiting and you forgot my hairpiece and veil so I had to just wear my hair in a ponytail!!!! Ughh terrifying!"

i'm the same! i am totally guilty of wedding planning at work also. its so hard not to when your really down to the wire! i am working right up to my wedding date, so i hope that this lack of focus doesn't get worse as i get closer.
I'm with Miss Short Dress. My wedding's not until September and I can't even focus on work now so I can only imagine what it'll be like the month before!
My wedding is in December and I can't seem to focus on anything so I can only imagine how you are feeling!
Our wedding isn't until late August but I am already struggling to focus. I have several deadlines of essays and research papers coming up the coming weeks as well as a couple of finals but all I can think of is wedding prep and I end up wasting my time away behind the pc browsing weddingbee and other wedding-related blogs and websites!! Eeeks!
I'm getting married in 4 days and somehow my boss expects me to be able to focus during an 8 hour training tomorrow! I don't think so! The last two weeks have been tough at work. I'm going to have some serious make-up to do once the wedding is over.
but... I'M SO EXCITED!!!
@ mrstilly: CONGRATS! We originally picked May 15th as our date - but we've got an extra week now.
So glad to know I'm not alone here! It's only getting worse. Thank goodness I only have one more full week of work, then two more days the week of the wedding. And who am I kidding, I am so not going to work much those two days th week of the wedding!
OMG YES!!!!! I just keep thinking, everyone get out my face (colleagues and clients) don't you know I have a wedding to plan LOL x
I have my last set of office hours seeing patients this afternoon and then am off till the wedding!!! Thank goodness, I have definitely had trouble concentrating this week!

May brides, are you struggling with focusing at work? I should be working right now, but I just can't focus!
I have two more full weeks of work, plus two days the week of our wedding. I've got to get focused. I'm just so anxious and I feel like there is still so much to do with the wedding, that I just can't concentrate!
