Looking for some dress advice! I’m an extremely indecisive person and I’ve tried on several dresses thinking it could be the one and then go home and have second thoughts. Can somone domed done suggestions on how to choose? At first I thought I wanted fit and flare but I started falling in love with drop waist/modified ball gowns. I added a poll too of the ones I really like do far:
Melissa Sweet at DB—I tried on this last– its a straight across bodice which i didnt like but the pinned it to show hiw it can be modified. it’s a Size 14 and they tried to pin it as much as they could but I’m still worried if the dress is “overwhelming” on me.. (The first shoes is a better lothreat the lace on the skirt)
**I’m so sorry for the big pictures. I don’t know how to I upload them smaller (I’m new to this site!)**
Not sure why it uploaded sideways…
This next one is Enzoani Dabra that I tried on at a boutique. A little more than I wanted to spend but there’s a trunk show coming in JuLu so it made me think maybe I shouldn’t rule out Enzoani…
then of course I saw these two Oleg Cassini dresses online and now I think I may need to go try them on. Yep, I can commit to my man but it seems the dress is much harder lol
Any advice, comments are much appreciated!

UM. I bought one of your choices for my own wedding!
This dress looks NOTHING like the photos in the store! The photos on the website do it no justice. It’s super flattering and the beading is just gorgeous. Of course, I am biased because it’s my dress, but the fit on it is absolutely flawless! I had my tailor add a slight sweetheart neckline to it just to give it some extra oomph.
I highly suggest trying it on; it is a similar fit to the first Melissa Sweet gown, but doesn’t have the band around the middle. I’m interested to see what the Oleg Cassini would look like on you. 🙂
I must have tried on 50 dresses and even with this gown, I was having second thoughts until I took it to my tailor 2 weeks ago. I was in the middle of the store having my gown pinned and adjusted and people stopped and stared while she was pinning/adjusting for 20 minutes. I had MEN tell me it was a beautiful gown and 10 different women asked where it came from, as they had never seen anything like it. I think I personally needed that outside validation before I could finally see that it was *the* dress, and I should have believed that from the beginning!

I think both are stunning. I think dress one makes your waist look smaller…Have fun deciding!

WOW I did not realize I had so many typos/mispellings, etc. I apologize! I did this post on my phone and definitely should of proofread.
@verybluetardis Thank you for your advice. I think I am going to check that one out, I love the back of the dress! It makes me feel better that I am not the only one that second guesses.
Thank you for those of you that have responded thus far!

I actually said “oh wow” outloud when I saw the Enzoani. I think that answers that!

Love the Enzoani! Beautiful on you 🙂

I think both are really stunning. However, I do feel like the first dress is more flattering – the true waist seems to be more slimming.

I think both look AMAZING on you, but I slightly prefer #2. If it isn’t in the budget, though, I still think #1 is gorgeous.

I can see why, both are gorgeous, 1 sure needs alterning to fit perfectly. But once it does I think it would be stunning.
