@Serey: my mother told me that when she was pregnant with me, she couldn’t stand the smell of coffee. it got to the point where she couldn’t even make it for my dad or for guests when they came over. after she delivered and she was in the recovery room, the nurse asked her if she wanted anything. my mom was craving a coffee.

Almost any strong smells.
I have one of those glade – room – air freshener thingys. I used to LOVE the smell now I keep it on its lowest setting, it makes me feel like I can’t breath.
Popcorn is vile.
Strong perfumes or colognes.

Steamed broccoli and frying oil. Darling Husband fried up some chicken wings the one night, and I had to leave the house to get some air. It was awful.

@figgnewton: LOL thats too funny.
@mypinkshoes: I guess its just only during the pregancy and she was fine afterwards drinking the coffee?

@Serey: i guess so. she was fine after delivery and she wanted a coffee. funny thing is that if i drink strong coffee, it gives me an upset tummy. maybe it was just me.

I feel like my office smells like ketchup today and it is making me want to vomit! It hasnt ever bothered me up until this point so it must just be one of those random things. I am like did everyone get a burger and fries at lunch or what? yuck..

@Serey: There was a service guy here putting together a desk and he was smelling pretty ripe … almost caused me to upchuck.
I also get grossed out by things like mould.

Yuppp. This lady who works in my office wears way too much perfume (and I thought so even before I was pregnant), but now even the slightest whiff of it makes me nauseated all day. Also, back in my first trimester when I had MS, Darling Husband and I were doing some renovation work on the house that involved drywall mud. We were using the mud again a couple of weeks ago and it brought back the nausea all over again. So weird.

@SaraP2012: It’s ketchup for me too!!! My husband puts it on everything, and I CANNOT take it.

Bacon. Even just pictures of it make me gag now.

@Serey: This made me laugh. I completely understand. Every day Darling Husband comes home and it is difficult to hug and kiss him hello. He smells like work and it grosses me out. I feel bad telling him he stinks, but I can’t even sit next to him on the couch. Now he knows that once he gets home he needs to take a shower before I will cuddle with him. His breath is another thing that bothers me. I can’t sleep facing him because if he turns to face me I actually wake up from the smell of his breath. It never bothered me before, but now it grosses me out. I haven’t told him about this yet and I think I will just deal with it quietly until my nose goes back to normal.

A co-worker of mine uses this lotion that smells AWFUL. Everytime she walks past me I gag. I also can’t stand the smell of dogs. No matter how much I clean our house, I still smell dog and it makes me sick.
