easy solution, switch out the belt if you don’t like it! I agree it is a little harsh for the dress but it’s your dress. Whatever you love and feel the most comfortable in you should get!

@jbbs1222:  I like the second dress, only because I think the belt is a bit much and takes away the focus from you.  I also like how the second waist sits and then comes out…reminds me of a princess dress.

@jbbs1222:  Your first dress is WAY better–If  you want a more ballgown shape, just add a nice big crinoline!

I would stick with the one you have. Realistically, it’s a dress you’ll be wearing for a few hours. Don’t waste the money on getting a different dress that you may not love either. Grass is always greener, right?

I think your gown is really pretty, but I agree that the belt is too bright.  If I remember correctly,  your accessories have blue sapphires and the belt ties in with them? I think if you switched to a white/ivory (sorry, its hard to tell what colour your dress is with the lighting) sash with  a silver brooch with blue sparkles, I think you would be surprised just how different it would look!

Edit: If you have a flower girl, you could repourpose the sash into a sash for her with a sweet big bow, or even a headband that ties up at the back (obviously it would beed to be cut a bit shorter though).

I would switch the belt and add crinoline. I don’t see that much of a difference between the dresses to switch.

Try getting a white sparkly belt with lots of sparkle to it, the blue is too harsh.

@jbbs1222:  I’d swap belts rather than dresses.  The dress is really awesome, but I think it might be a bit of bling overload.  I’d say never second guess your first dress, they’re is usually a reason you fell in love with that one, work with your love rather than trading to another one.
