Are the pictures directly from your camera? Sometimes those are too large and need to be resized before the uploader will work. The Insert Images icon is better than the Upload Files at the bottom (they don't need to be resized as much with the icon).
i'm having this same problem with using the insert image icon but if you upload them through browsing (dont click the upload button) and then submit the post, they show up in the post!
Still not working for me :( Thanks for the suggestions though. Insert image says I don't have permissions to upload, and when I do the browsing it gives me a message like I'm posting a blank post. This has only been going on for the past few hours, I never had a problem before.
@meliss: It did this to me last night but i thuoght it was my computer! It actually said that the file name was not valid or something which is weird because it was just a regular jpg file! I'll try again today - does yours work now?
Sometimes clearing cookies on your browser can help.
Have you recently changed anything (like which browser you're using, installing addons to your browser, etc.)?
I resized the photos and it worked this time...Weird. they were less than the 5MB limit but I had to get them down to 1MB each for them to upload through the Insert Image. Thanks for the help!
