I’m from Massillon and my husband and I ran into a similar problem! We were inviting 400 people and every place we loved was WAY too expensive for the amount if guests we were having.

We ended up having our reception in the Cultural Center for The Arts. It can fit almost 500 people and it was only $750 to rent and that just included the table and chairs. They also charged $11 for alcohol. I had a TON of paper Chinese lanterns that they hung for free, too.

For our caterer, flowers and cake which included all linens (except for the chair covers since they have wonky chairs) and it was such a good deal!! It was $12 a person and we had 3 entrees, 2 sides, salads and bread. The cake was included and our flowers were $1200 for my bridal bouquet, 6 BM bouquets, 13 bouts, 4 corsages, 2 flower girl bouquets and 50 centerpiece including the head table.

2 weeka before my wedding we went in to drop off the lanterns and they were setting up for a rustic themed wedding and it was AMAZING. They made that place look like a barn with some ratfia, burlap and baby’s breath.

If you wanted, my MIL also bought the covers to the chairs so if you look at that place and like it, we could totally rent them to you!

Also, for the red velvet rope around the pegasus fountain, we also have white covers as well!

Seriously, take a look at it because that place has TONS of

potential!’
