I can suggest tons of great restaurants: Fresco's has an upstairs that would probably fit that group, or their sister restaurant 410 Bank Street could probably accomodate. I haven't had nor been to a wedding there, but we spend time there every summer so I've been to tons of restaurants. I will ask my fmil for more recommendations and get back to you - it will be beautiful, I love it down there!
My Best Friend got married at the Rhythm of the Sea bed and breakfast and it was GORGEOUS. They did all the food, and you bring in your own alcohol. She got her flowers from the local trade school. I can PM you pictures if you're interested, and I'll find out the name of her photographer. We liked him a lot.
One more thing- she had her rehearsal dinner at the Mad Batter, and that was really good as well. We were in a private area, sort of like a screened-in porch. Very nice.
Eriqua- thank you i woud love to know where you've eatten that you've enjoyed.
miss- that would be great to see photos if thats okay with you. I have been having such a hard time trying to find somewhere thats ok with a small group and thats even better about the alcohol because me and my FI dont drink so it would just be for everyone else.
miss- i just went up on their website and while they are beautiful.. i cant spend 10-15k for my wedding. im trying to keep it to 3-5k all said and done.
I'm sure you could achieve that at the Mad Batter. Her rehearsal dinner was about 3k for 25 of us.
I know I'm late on this...and you have probably already decided...
But we are renting a very big house in Cape May and having the reception in the back yard.
That could be a great option for a smaller wedding. And all 20 of your guests could sleep in the house.

Hello my fellow bees,
I am in need of advice aka desparate help for finding a suitable location for a small 20 or so gathering. I just want a reasonable under 100 per person location for a reception since we are planning on the ceremony being on the beach. If you ladies or gentlemen have had a wedding in the Cape May area and know of some suggestions that would be most helpful.
Also need suggestions for a photographer, bake shop (cake), flowers.... well basically everything.
Thank you!
