Cab! Definetly the cab, So the CAB. I love the CAB - can you tell? Especially for a NY theme.
If I was to get married in NY (it was a contender) I wanted to arrive in a cab and then both be taken to the venue.
The cab is great... but it's not so comfy. That's why I voted for the RR>
Either would be awesome but I vote the rolls. My parents had a rolls at their wedding and the pictures are great.
i love the checker cab--although i've heard you can't ride in them anymore, you can only take pictures inside and next to them, while the cab is standing. my friend had a rolls at her wedding and it was really fun to see it!
Crazy! I've been debating this myself! Do you know the difference in price? And any companies that have the cabs? Love the look - Sooooo NY
Rolls! I only say that because you say it's Black Tie - so I'm sure you want a fancy elegant look right?
does anyone have a recommendation on a company for the vintage cab in NYC?
Film Cars in NYC (google it) has several vintage cabs you can rent. I just reserved one and it will be $480 for 3 hours (with a driver to take us around). I can not do the owner justice for how polite and helpful he was through the process of renting it. I actually never post on Weddingbee but felt I should just to mention Film Cars! (They also have other cars if you decide against the Checker, but if you are doing NYC, I say Checker! Google image "checker cab wedding" and you will see beautiful pics on other blogs of real brides.)

Daydreaming about the "lead car" for NYC wedding...
Which do you like better...the antique Rolls Royce or the Checker Cab? The wedding is in New York City, black tie-ish, a bit of a NY theme.
