Hello Bees :-). Just wanted to share with you that I ended up getting a car. After sitting in numerous cars, I decided that for now I will take a 2003 Chevy Cavelier. It was the car I felt most comfortable in and the car I felt comfortable driving (My father has a 1990 Cavelier that I used to drive). I decided that within a few years I will get a Honda Civic, as I liked the car, but wanted to stay with what I am completely comfortable with now (also, lower payments). I took some photos of my new baby. I really like it a lot! Thank you all for your kindness and help.

Yay for going with a Chevy! (My dad works at a GM plant ). I’m not sure what you had before, but it’s nice having a popular American made car because parts are so much easier to find for it.
Congrats on the new car!

Thanks everyone :-). I was so excited to finally have transportation! My 93 year old grandmother nicknamed it “Red Bird”.
@jo.lee: This is my first car! LOL I am 24 and I just got my license. I do love Caveliers though. Growing up, all we had were chevy’s. Made the mistake of getting a ford once…..never again lol. That van was a disaster.

@MrsE.ToBe : Thank you. I don’t mind you asking :-). I pretty much had no choice. I graduated with my masters last summer, but no one would hire me without a driver’s license. I wasn’t even able to send out resumes because the employer’s would ask for a driver’s license number on the application. I finally decided that I had to get the license to improve my life situation. I also knew I wanted to be able to drive by the time I have children. I honestly consider not driving before this the biggest mistake of my life, but I am trying not to dwell on it. I can only work with the situation I am currently in :-).
