What my cousin did was use a ribbon to keep the door from opening wide enough to let anything out, but closed enough to let people put things in.  It worked out really well and the ribbon looked so pretty.  She used a large latern that had room for a lock.

This might not be big enough for that many guests, but you can always buy a mailbox that locks.  There are a ton of cute options, and then you have an extra-special mailbox to put outside your first home 🙂  I’m still trying to get my fiance on board with this one!

I was at a wedding recently where they glued 4 picture frames together to make a box and then put a generic type top on it. They put pics of the bride and groom together in the frames… it was really sweet.

I put my photo card box on a lazy susan and it spinned!  Really cute.

You could also create your own using hat boxes and seal them so that it won’t be able to be opened at the wedding.
