Mine’s still under construction, but it’ll be similar to this. Perfect for my backyard/garden themed wedding 🙂

@Jen51287:  I made this box for my shabby chic wedding. $3.98 for the box at BurlingtonCoat Factory and $10.00 for the flowers and font stickers. YAY!

@Mammy:  I love your card box!!! I want something very similar. I purchased a case for $10 and want to place a card sign on the inside of the lid like you’ve done. My FI and I are arguing about this though. He thinks the case should be closed with a slit for security purposes, I like the look of it open but he’s afraid someone might take envelopes, not our guests of course but the hotel staff where our wedding is. Not sure what to do……. Are you worried about leaving it open at all?

@Future_Ms.Bostonceltics:  thank you. I hope you make the card box you love.

I am not worried about someone stealing from the box, but I can understand why one might be leery. Maybe you would have a trusted friend stand by the box and be responsible for the contents as they come in. People I would think would put their cards in the box before the festivities begin, therefor the person you designate would only be guardian  for a short time.  Then that person could empty and secure the cards somewhere safe.

Have fun,❤
