I would suggest using glue to attach the fabric, and if you want the box to have a more plush look you could put a filler between the box and the fabric and use like upholtery tacks and ribbon to give it more fabric. I would just suggest that where you glue is where it won't visible when it is on display, because sometimes glue can seep through fabric and leave a dark spot on the fabric.

Has anyone ever made their own Card Box? The ones that look like wrapped presents w/ a slit in the top of them? I am going to attempt to make my own (Ekkkk!) but I have a question....
I have two empty cardboard boxes w/ seperate lids for them....
How did you tack the fabric to the box? Glue?
Did you put anything between the fabric and the box? padding?
Any other helpful hints would be appreciated before I try to tackle this project.....I may need a fw glass of wine beforehand because the days are ticking by and I have so much to do! :o)
