What are some good ideas for cardholders? I have no idea what I want to use yet and I need inspiration.

What is the theme of your wedding?

    There are so many ideas

I found the idea of using a birdcage on here the other night and it fits perfect.. Lo and behold, I already have a beautiful one!

Well, it's more "simple, elegant, and classy with Bling". Does that help?

I really, really looove the pic of the first card box, which has some "bling", and you would of course do it in your colors.

It is also elegant and classy in my opinion. You could dress it up however you want. It looks like a mild level DIY project, though.. so it might take some time and patience!

It is really making me want to change my mind about using the bird cage.... hahaha

LOL, I thought about making a card box, but I have so many other projects that I am not sure if I'd have time.

I ended up going with a birdcage, but was also considering the following:

Hat box with slot cut in top (or top slightly askew to let cards in) - they have them in all sorts of pretty colors and decoration at the craft stores and elsewhere

Vintage suitcase (again, propped open somehow)

Blinged out basket (was concerned a bit about "security" since there wouldn't be a top)

You could do a large bowl (I am thinking about doing this) with a ribbon wrapped around it.  The problem is your wedding has a lot of folks so you may want to be weary of this (here people STEAL them!!)

I made a card box (here) but I heart cre's idea. Sounds simple and cute.
