Okay, so I’ve searched online for any advice on this… and came up short.
I actually created an account on here to specifically ask about this, because I’m soo confused, lol.
Would it be tacky or cheap to have the card box double as the “Well Wishes” box? We’re having our reception in a small area, and the gifts table has limited space…
We’re not doing a “traditional” guest book [we’re setting out a sunburst style vintage guitar for guests to sign], but I still love the idea of the Well Wishes cards… I just don’t have the room for 2 boxes….
So any thoughts from you ladies on this?
[Also, I have to say this is one of the nicest Wedding planning/advice boards I have ever come across… all the other boards just have women that are so rude and catty. Very discouraging sometimes 🙁 ]

I think using one box for both will be fine!!
ETA: You should edit the post and add a poll, easier to see the responses, and Bee’s love a poll!! 🙂

I think this would be great! Why make and lug around 2 boxes? I would just make it really clear that the box is for both things. Like, put a sign on it that says “cards and well wishes” etc. You could also do a tiered box with two separate slits, one for cards, and one for well wishes.

@ericaiscreative: Welcome to the Hive! If you have a sign that indicates the box is for cards and wishes, it will be fine.

I was planning on designing it as a 2 tiered box, to get the kind of ‘cake feel;… the 2 slits for each box is a great idea! I’ll most likely do that.
And I’ll def have signs quickly explaining what to do.
Thanks for the ideas!

Is it strange that I’ve never heard of a well wishes box? How is it different than a card box?
