Weddingbee boards

I could not for the life of me figure out what to use to decorate the white lattice that will be standing behind the cake table. I thought of lights just by themselves, and decided that was too simple, then I thought of greenery but wanted something a little more unique.... then it hit me! Cardboard letters, painted dark red (one of my colors), hung with white ribbon that is tied through the holes in the lattice!  I went to Hobby Lobby and bought cardboard letters - they are approx 8 inches tall and I used red acrylic paint on them (2 coats for a smooth and even look), then used white ribbon, thumbtacks and a hot glue gun to secure the ribbon in place from the top of each letter! They turned out pretty good and I really feel like it will be cute and unique :)

So, the lattice behind the cake table will have lights on it, and the red cardboard letters hanging from ribbon that spell out "Just Married".

What do you all think? :)

Hmmm.... well, I don't have any pics taken of my projects lol.. I should probably do that, but I've just been so busy I haven't even thought about it! I definately plan on posting pics after the wedding though..

Maybe I can get a few up here before then :)

OK hang on, I got the pics, but the lighting is HORRIBLE.. Anyways, just know that the letters are a burgundy color lol. I'll post soon!

Well, after multiple attempts it just keeps giving me an error:failed message. I am completely retarded when it comes to resizing images/editing them, I don't know how to do it... so anyways, I guess no DIY porn. Sorry.
