If there is no way of figuring the budget for this gown, then identify what it is about it that you love.  There are so many similar dresses across many price points that you could find something in your budget with the aspects of this dress you love. I dont believe there is ONE dress for every woman.  Go try on dresses IN YOUR BUDGET and fall in love with another one… it can happen.

It’s so pretty! I agree with mdarrah. Figure out what you love and try on dresses in your budget. I was very adament about not trying on dresses over $700. There are bound to be some lovely dresses in your range!

Can you sign up for Provenias trunk sales, sample sales, etc? Or look at see if there are similiar Provenias gowns you like. After looking at so many dresses, I’ve realized that designers often have a common thread running through their gowns, and some have that same “feel.” Good luck!

If it makes you feel better its a really heavy and hot dress. lol.    It is a beautiful dress though.  Try on dresses in your price range.  I assure you that you will find one that you love just as much.  Oh and look up Pronovias Sagrera.  Its a 2009 and it might be cheaper.  It looks JUST like that one

The dress is absolutely BEAUTIFUL.  IS there any way you could have a person try to make it for cheaper?

Hey Ireland,

I ended up having the same dilemna, I tried on this one dress my fiance picked out (yes, he came along with me to shop for my dress-he IS the one that will be staring at me all night so I thot it would be nice to get his opinion) and it was THE ONE. But then I looked at the price and the price was out of my range. However, after contemplating for a week on its cost, I sucked it up and ordered it. I also had a budget, but the dress just looked so nice.

Moral of story: if your gut says “YES” then it’s probably the one. If it’s really out of ur price range (if it costs more than 1/3 of your wedding budget), then I would keep on shopping. Remember, all wedding dresses are beautiful, make sure u try on a few to get a feel and image of the dress to make the final decision. Lots of designers out there, girl!

Good luck!

That gown reminds me A LOT of my gown which is probably the reason that I love it so much!!! I am wearing Pronovias – Dagen from the fall 2007 collection and got it for just over $700 which was well within my budget 🙂

It has a satin band at the top of the gown, but I saw another bride who removed the band and used it as a ribbon (like the gown in your pic). It has almost the exact same lace design too.

Here are a couple of pics of brides wearing the gown to give you an idea.
