Hi Hive,

I was hoping you could help me out with a little project. My best friend (and MOH) recently got engaged and i want to make here a little care package. She is already stressed and trying to figure out where to start. I thought I would add some bridal magazines and maybe a book but I would appreciate some other ideas!

What a great, thoughtful idea! Hmmm... just a few things that came to mind. I have no idea what price range you are considering, so throwing in anything I thought of:

A gift certificate to a restaurant with a note telling her that no matter how stressful and busy wedding planning gets, never to forget to date and enjoy her FI! (DH and I learned that we had to have no wedding talk allowed dates to reconnect when the wedding craziness was getting to be too much.)
A list of websites and other resources you have found helpful. I really wish I had known about weddingbee a lot earlier in the planning process!
A notebook or binder to keep all of her notes, info sheets, contracts, etc. in.

you are so sweet! instead of buying the bridal magazines, i suggest buying "The Wedding Book" -- it has the 1,2,3 and A, B, C,'s of everything wedding related!

much more useful than bridal magazines, maybe homemade coupons of "let's go try on dresses" date/"trial hair/makeup" day, "DIY wedding project helper", or a certificate to test out the spa/salon you guys can get mani/pedi's at on the wedding day,

Thansk for the ideas! i just typed up a litst of references/favorite wedding blogs for her. The binder idea is great also. I will check into that wedding book and the local nail salons!

Get her a gift certificate for a manicure so she can show off her new ring with nice nails!

If you do get bridal magazines I suggest either Real Simple or Martha Stewart because they are both really good!Also, hair magazines are like $10 so she might not buy one for herself but that could be a perfect thing to give her!

I like the coupon idea and I would also add in to them "free hang out with ME" because I know I have just wanted to hang out with my MOH without having to talk about weddings!!!
