I’ve been in a conundrum in the recent past, trying to decide which direction to go in with my Bio & Business degrees. After many advisement appointments, I’ve found that medical equipment or pharmaceutical sales would be a great fit for me. For the first time in almost 5 years, I am starting to feel excited about where my life is headed professionally. However, my stomach is in knots, worrying about a possible loss of this opportunity. It has to do with my driving record, and the fact I may have to drive a company car. I have 1 speeding ticket from this past October (8 miles over the speed limit), and another ticket for running a yellow light over 2 years ago. These are the only 2 violations over 3 years. Sadly, though, I have 3 tickets between the time frame of 2004 and 2006. Back then, I was much less mature, careless, and severely depressed. I just let a lot of things go during this time. The good news is, I will be graduating this upcoming December after a long battle with my mental health. I had wanted to start looking at job openings this summer, but would it be wise to wait until my latest ticket is at least 2 years behind me? I’m kicking myself for being so irresponsible in the past–and this past October. I’m serious about not getting a ticket of any sort ever again, and would love to get some advice. Thank you.
