I wasn’t going to a favor bc they kinda seem like a waste of money too me. But I found some pics of cute carmel/chocolate covered apples or candied apples from a wedding.
So I got to thinking Hmm maybe this wold work. I love candied apples, it would be easy/cheap to DIY and I think people would enjoy them.
But here is the issue * I will have several diabetic or elderly guests who can not have these* Should I scrap the plans…or try to make exceptions for them? Ideas on exceptions??
Thanks so much Ashley

I LOVE the caramel apple idea! I’m planning on doing the same for my wedding! Anyway, I’m sure there are substitutes out there for “real” caramel apples. Try searching local candy stores and ask what they have. You could DIY the regular apples, and buy the diabetic friendly ones since there will probably be fewer of those.

You can find sugar-free alternatives, I’m sure!

ooo thats a really good idea with the sugar free candy… we too thought about this for a favor but I thought with how much work it is to make and if people dont take them I’d be pissed hahahaha so we’re doing maple leaf shaped bottles of maple syrup instead.
