I like the Private Label by G, maybe I am impartial I just got mine in from them for my June 09 wedding. They are both beautiful but I prefer the PL dress. When I got my dress in, totally different style than yours it fit great. I am not going to have to alter much, mostly hemming because I am short.

thanks. im just a bit nervous b.c the picture of the Private Label one looks a little slimmer than I would like (almost trumpet skirt). I have found that a slim a-line with sweetheart neckline looks best on me.
I am also down to Casablanca 1827 and one other dress (also a Casablanca) and I have to say, it's a stunning dress and after looking at the Private Label I just think the Casablanca dress is the winner. I have pictures of me in the Casablanca 1827 on my blog if it might help - The Sweetest Occasion

I like the way the Casablanca looks on me (it zipped at bridal shop- i dont know how to post the pic) but the other one did not zip, so that's why I am not so sure about the look yet b/c I couldnt get a 100% evaulation. Thanks for the advice, ladies!
The other one that I like is 1872. It's gorgeous, but it so much heavier than 1827 I don't think it will be the one. I love how lightweight and comfortable I feel in 1827! One of the nicest feeling dresses I've tried.
When will you make your decision, Cyd? When is the wedding? I am going to try on my final 2 on tuesday and I'm going to sleep on it (unless i know for sure when I put either of them on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I can't wait to get married next August.
I'm wearing Casablanca 1827 in champagne (what else!) and ivory over lace... its sooo beautiful!!! Let's see pictures August09!!
ok wait I just realized I never looked at the back of 1312- Casablanca 1827 has a deep v in the back, and it's gorgeous! I much prefer the back of cb, but the private label is stunning too. Keep us updated!

Hey! I am down to two dresses that I like. I saw a few posts with real brides in the Casablanca 1827. Did anyone wear Private Label by G 1312??? I like this dress, but would not get the green ribbon (it would be ivory). I wanted to see what the dress looks like on real brides!!! I'm getting married in August 09 and both dresses were classy, yet lightweight which would be perfect for a summer wedding day. THANKS!
