I purchased the Casablanca 2030 in April 2013. It arrived in December. When I tried it on in my bear feet, I could see almost halfway up my feet. My mom and I were immediately worried that the dress was too short. The women at the bridal salon immediately starting reassuring me that the dress shouldn’t touch the floor and that because of the scallops, my shoes would naturally be visible. I had planned on wearing flats anyway, but had not imagined seeing so much of the shoes. Sadly, I don’t have any pictures.
I was hoping other brides who purchased the dress, or one like it, could post pictures standing straight up in the dress. Can you see your shoes?

Here’s a thread with pictures of a another bee wearing that dress. It looks like the lace just touches the ground at the front.

@lmp: I didn’t purchase this dress, but I did buy a Casablanca. It also had scalloped edges. I bought the sample and had it hemmed to fit me. My shoes did NOT show unless I lifted up the dress, and I wore flats. I think the shop lady may have been fibbing a bit. Did you purchase the sampel or order it?
Here is a pic of me dancing (pretty much standing straight up) and another of me showing off my shoes…

I ordered the dress. I think the lady at the shop may have been fibbing as well because she took $250 off of a veil my mother purchased. We left the store trying to convince ourselves this was normal, but now that I am trying to find shoes, I keep thinking about it.
When my veil arrives and I purchase shoes, I think I will make an appointment to visit again and re-voice my concerns.

I tried that dress on & almost bought it but I was going to have it made strapless. Anyway, it does sound like it’s a little too short. You do want the scallops touching the floor.
