I am in love with Casablanca 2072, but was wondering whether anyone had attempted to make it more of a true A-line than one so fitted. I have thighs and I’d rather them not be plastered together all night. If anyone has pictures from customizing their Casablanca 2072 please post!!!
I know many have turned it into more of a fit and flare, but I would rather have a not too poffy, not too fitted A.

Did you end up customizing the dress? I am currently debating if I want to risk it and order the dress with a more A-Line cut like you said. I know everyone is trying to make it fit and flare…I just don’t have the figure for it. The boutique told me to just pick a different dress from Casablana with the cut that I want and they’ll make it. I just feel like its such a gamble!

Honestly, I was too scared to try it and it was also a money issue- all of those custom changes have a price tag and i figured it would just be a lot to gamble on also.
Would I have loved to try it out- yes; but too scary.
So I ordered the Casablanca 2072 (it is actually just a more fitted A-line).
But- I ordered a 16 instead of the 14/12 I would actually wear because I wanted more room in the thigh area and it wont make me feel so self conscious. Then, we will probably just take it in a little n the bust so yes it will be a more fitted A-line but I can sit down and eat; cause let’s be real- if I’m paying for it- I’m eating it 🙂
I did however custom hallow to hem (I’m only 5’1″ on a good day.)
Please let me know how it goes sweetie!

I’m going to a new shop that carries Casablanca tomorrow…I think I’m going to risk it. They said just pick out another a-line that I like from the Casablanca collection and they’d make the 2072 to those measurements.
I’m with you on the comfort! I’m paying all this money for food and alcohol- I’m not going to worry about “sucking it in” all night (hence the need of a fuller skirt!)
Hopefully it will go well! Wish me luck 🙂
