Casablanca dresses are usually very easy to alter. I had the 1985 and altered the neckline, color, and changed the button back to a corset back (sorry, can’t post pics from my iPad). I’m not sure if the company could add straps or if they’d make the seamstress do it. My seamstress was wonderful, I’d trust her with anything, just make sure you can say the same about yours! I’ve seen some pretty botched dresses from shoddy seamstresses.

Casablanca will custom alter your dress before they send it to you. Mine was custom made to my size, had a corset back put in, and they made it with a sweetheart neckline.

@countrysky22:  I ordered a Casablanca gown customized to my height. I also added sleeves (it is a strapless with a sweetheart neckline). It is not scheduled to ship for another month. I’m really nervous but haven’t heard any horror stories about customized Casablanca dresses.

I started a thread to see other customized gowns but only one bee has shared pics so far. You can find it here:

Good luck in your search! Smile

I have a casablanca 2048.  The first place I went would customize some of the dress (length and sleeves).  Then, the place I bought it at offered zero customization.  I took it to a different bridal boutique to get altered, and they do 100% customization on all their dresses (which, I am so mad I didn’t get my dress there, since I am paying a TON to get it altered correctly).  I would suggest calling the boutiques around you and seeing what kind of customization they offer.
