I'm not sure what your budget is like but take a look at Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. It's absolutely gorgeous and I think you can host and indoor/outdoor reception!

Can you imagine the pictures you cant take on the grand staircase!

We also wanted a mansion and many of the ones we looked at in the area couldn't hold everyone (just FH blood relatives = 100+ people). We ended up booking Twelve Oaks Mansion in Mars, PA right off of 228.
there is one in butler on route 8.? oh how abotu hartwood acres? we are having ours at the succop conservancy.. they ahve an outdoor space for 160
Have you looked at the Mansion at Maple Hill or 20th Century club?
Shakespeare's is built to look like a castle and they do weddings. I've eaten out their restaurant and the food was great. I haven't been to a wedding there, though.

Sorry, there are no users yet.
So, my first grand idea was Phipps Conservatory... how cool would that be?! But then I found out the prices and poop hours... So, thats out.
I am wondering if anyone knows of any pretty castles/mansions... anything along that line w/in an hour of the Pittsburgh area?
Buhl mansion was already donated as an option... but it can hold no more than 120... and I'm not sure if thats okay just yet.
Thanks in advance!
