Maybe this is a little too far (probably about 2.5 hours from Pittsburgh) but I'm getting married in Deep Creek, MD at a place called Chanteclaire Farm (www.chanteclairefarm.com). It is a very beautiful and unique wedding location. There is lots to do in the area as well. It's a bit of a "destination wedding" but not too far away.
There's a couple of great places in Lancaster, PA ... dunno if that's too far or not ...
@alishaneva: Can you share some of those places in the Lancaster area ?

Sorry, there are no users yet.
I posted this in the Pittsburgh boards and got some really great feed back already. My FH is from the Altoona area and we'd love to get married at St. Michaels in Loretto for all the beautiful photo ops that are in the area.
I am wondering if anyone knows of any pretty castles/mansions... anything along that line w/in an hour of that area... or in general unique reception sites? I'm unfamiliar w/ all the stuff in the area.
Thanks in advance!
