    I would be fine with just the salad.  I’m not a huge fan of green beans (typical wedding vegetables) so I probably wouldn’t eat those.  If you had another veggie though I would probably eat it.  I would probably take a little alfredo (like maybe 1/2 c…basically just to try it out) but mostly I would eat lasagna.  I prefer red sauces over white.

    @The_Future_KB:  Well I meant I would eat salad plus an entree.  I didn’t think you needed extra vegetables is what I meant.

    I dont think you need to add a veggie since you are having salad.  Menu sounds good.  Enjoy

    What kind of lasagna? As a vegetarian, I’d be pleasantly surprised by a vegetable lasagna, but I’d expect ahead of time that it’d have beef, and I’d come full and nibble on sides and cake. My vegan husband would eat some lettuce. 🙂

    Are you expecting any gluten-intolerant guests? If not, either of those options sounds great with the salad.

    @The_Future_KB:

    I do believe it’s entirely my responsibility to let my hosts know about my allergies etc well in advance of the event, and it’s nice if they try to accommodate them, or at least let me know if they can’t.

    If you haven’t printed your RSVP cards yet, maybe you could add a line on the card that asks your guests to let you know about allergies and other special dietary requirements so you can plan accordingly.

    I don’t eat meat so I would be a little bummed that I would only have a salad, but I would be happy to have fun at the wedding and eat more cake to fill up.  A veggie lasagna would be epic though.

    I would probably have a little bit of both and salad.
