Well goodness, it is quite overwhelming to start looking at venues I must say (i’m sure all of you out there that have already done it could have told me that though!)
My FI and I are starting to look at places online, and before we head out to visit places (and fall in love) we are hoping to know more about if they are in our budget or not.
One of the venues that we really like, if we go with a non-hotel venue, is the Lyman Estate in MA-does anyone have any experience working with them? I would love to know what they are like to work with. Also, I know that they have a list of caterers you have to choose from-has anyone used any of these before (either at the Lyman or not)http://www.historicnewengland.org/historic-properties/function-rentals/lyman-estate/caterers-event-services#caterers (you can find the list here). I would love to know if you have any recommendations and if you know anything about their pricing range (since obviously every event is different, i know i can’t get an exact price).
