There are a few restaurants in the Bristol/Laconia area…. Would any of them be willing to cater? How big is your wedding?

What about Mame’s in Meredith – that’s not too far away and they say they do off-site catering.

Contigiani’s Catering in Laconia, and there is Celebrations and the Greenhouse Café in Nashua (which is pretty far away, but they might travel, I don’t know). Hope this helps!

I haven’t been up that way in ages. I’ll keep my ears open for you, though, and ask a few friends. Where will guests be staying? I think there’s an inn up that way–maybe ask them if they do any catering, or if they have any recommendations? Here’s a good dining guide: http://www.nhmagazine.com/mg/fooddrink/diningguide/#lakes

I hate to say it, but if you’re looking for upscale/gourmet, you might have some trouble finding it in northern NH. I’d definitely start with the restaurants, and ask them for advice (the Lake Opechee Inn and Spa menu looks good, for example–solid steakhouse-type fare).

I’m sorry–I wish I could be more helpful!

There’s a BBQ place in North Conway that does catering: http://www.hillstopbbq.com/catering.html

Also, it’s more standard BBQ fare, but Corky’s BBQ in Memphis is, IMHO, the best BBQ around, and you can order it frozen–might be easier to find someone locally who could just reheat and serve? Just a thought. I ordered it last year for my husband and father for Father’s Day–big hit!

Here’s another site I found: http://www.sellerzone.com/local2/c/NH/Bristol/Catering-and-Bartending.html

I wish I knew someone personally and could just give you a name. I can’t imagine how hard it must be to plan from so far away!

Muddy River in Portsmouth, NH does catering. I know they are on the Seacoast but did the the Rehearsal Dinner for a friend in Gonic before their New London/Lakes Region Wedding

Just had to chime in and say that it most certainly IS possible to find an upscale/gourmet caterer in Northern NH.

My fiance and I just had our menu tasting with our caterer, Chef Joe’s out of Sugar Hill/Franconia, and the food was the kind you would find at a fine dining restaurant. My fiance is an amazing cook and we are both big foodies who dine out in Boston quite frequently, so we are extremely picky when it comes to food.

Chef Joe totally knocked our socks off! His food was not only delicious…but the presentation and level of service was top notch!

Seriously…they are AMAZING!!! Our menu is sooo out of this world…my fiance and I were grinning ear to ear after our tasting. To be honest…I’m almost started crying I was so happy and excited! LOL! 😉
