I actually have pics (bad pictures, but pictures none the less) with a cathedral veil with Ambrosia!
I wore a cathedral-length veil, with my hair in an updo. I had a tiara and about six crystal pins in my hair:

@nikole.powell.np: and @Fall_In_Love22: I love the gown you both have chosen -- I especially love the flowers on the back!
@Fall_in_love22 What a coincidence! That looks beautiful with Ambrosia!
@Brielle, the flowers are partly why I love my dress as much as I do!
@simpleandchic, Your pictures are gorgeous. The first one is so much fun! Did your veil have an attached blusher that came with it?
@nikole.powell.np: It was just a single piece of fabric with the comb placed 2/3 along, when i didn't wear it in front i just folded it over
@Brielle: If you're not against showing your face, I'd love to see your hair from the front. That sounds exactly how I want to do it. If you are, even just seeing some pictures that inspired your look or something. And how high did you attatch your veil? Did you do it from the base of the tiara?
@cirk: I originally wanted to wear my veil at the back of my head, but, because I wanted to wear a blusher while walking down the aisle, and I did not like the look of the blusher being pulled from behind my head, I decided to have the veil placed on the top of my head, right behind the tiara and in front of the high part of my "up-do." Below is a small pic of the front of my hair/tiara with the blusher ON, but flipped back before the wedding. After the ceremony, I removed the blusher, so the "poof" of the veil was signficantly reduced for the rest of the evening. Unfortunately, my hair was covering a part of the bottom portion of my tiara, but I had no idea until I saw the pics.

@ella86: I got it from a store called Jenny and Gerry's in Adelaide South Australia, I am not sure where they ordered it from, sorry :(
@simpleandchic: I don't think my veil has any sort of capability of a blusher on it. I think I may just have to put it at the crown of my head and have my face uncovered....you can buy attachable blushers, right?
here is mine :) don't mind the mess on the floor in the bathroom. lol.

I will be wearing my hair in a low off center bun, but still debating wether to wear it above my bun or below it.
@nikole.powell.np: thank you! the veil came from bella-tiara.com, and i was quoted a price of $200 more for the same veil in a millinery shop. i do plan to bustle the veil (similar to the way randy from SYTTD did in the video floating around here).
the dress is definitely too big though! losing weight and waiting for my first fitting until july.
Here is my dress and veil! I bought a 50$ veil from a fellow bee... and bought high end lace from voguefabrics.com.. and had my grandmother sew it on for me :) It will be worn with VW ethel
@Hippos: Where did you get the flower hair piece? I love it and am looking for something similar but can't find anything remotely in my budget...
@futureboo: I actually bought it from the bridal store, and spent more money on it than I really wanted ($75). Depending on your budget though, I was going to buy one incredibly similar to the one I am wearing in the picture from Alfred Angelo for $45. I just went with the one I got because it was a double flower instead of a single.
@ella86: yep :) here she is.

if you purchase anything from bella-tiara, be sure to look for coupons. i got my bracelet i ordered practically for free because i saved around $50 with a coupon code.
@futureboo: I was looking on above Bella Tiara website and saw this and thought of you! It is on sale!!!
@BluButterfly: i think there was a good one on retailmenot.com? i bought the veil in january though so they may not be running the same kind of deal.
@simpleandchic: Where did you place the comb on your head? I am thinking of wearing a cathedral veil but I am wanting a low up-do and most others pics ive seen the veil is placed high in the head
@MrsNeutrino: Your veil looks stunning! I now want a lace edged cathedral veil :)

Hey bees!
I am wearing a cathedral length veil with Maggie Sottero's Ambrosia, but can't decide how to style my hair with the veil..up, down, curled, hair pieces, etc.
So if you wore a cathedral length veil, or just know of some great pictures of other brides with a cathedral length veil, post them! Just looking for some inspiration! Thank you!
Nikole
