Anyone ever bustled their cathedral veil or have pictures of someone who did? I want a cathedral veil for the ceremony but a short veil by dance time, so I was toying with gettin 2 veils but then am worried about taking it out, and then also having to buy two. I was going to try to make a detachable veil, so that the longer piece would detach to leave the shorter, but wasn’t positive the best way to do this. .
So, has anyone ever bustled their cathedral veil or plan to? Pictures?

Sorry, I don’t have pictures, but I plan to bustle my cathedral veil as well. I tried on a cathedral veil at the salon where I bought my dress, and the consultant bustled it for me so I could see how it would look…but I was by myself and didn’t have my camera, so I didn’t get a pic. 🙁 I am so excited about my veil that I couldn’t bear the thought of taking it off at the reception, so the veil bustle is perfect!

@tarheelgrad98: I have heard of it being done but wish I knew what it would look like without them just holding it up you know? Im thinking of beading a veil at which point I would hate to take it off halfway through, but wonder if it will be too heavy to wear bustled? Im gonna have to keep searching, thanks for your response 🙂

Essentially you just put a snap/hook in the middle of the veil (whatever lenght you want) and raise it up like you would a simple train bustle. It works best with single layer & light veils.
How to bustel a Cathedral Veil?
this is the best pic I could find
