Need some opinions. I absolutely love cathedral/chapel length veils and would love to wear one with my wedding dress, but I don’t know if a long veil will go with my dress. Also, I LOVE the back of my dress and I don’t want to detract from it but I think a cathedral veil could be sheer enough that it won’t detract. I really like the look of a simple long veil. What do you guys think? If you don’t think a long veil will go, then what veil do you suggest?
ETA: Don’t mind the bow (or the clips) – that won’t be there on the wedding day.

@hardtoconcentrate: I am also a lover of the long sheer veil! And I say go for it! It will outline your dress perfectly and will be easily see-through for the detail on your train. 🙂

Can you show a pic of the front of the dress? I think the cathederal veil would look super pretty- as long as its super sheer- I say go for it.

@Mrsgurzakovic: of course I can post a pic of the front of the dress…I love posting dress pics all over weddingbee!
I agree that the veil should be very sheer – hopefully I can find that at one of the online stores where I can find a good deal. Here’s the front of the dress:

Do it! It would look fabulous with your dress! What kinda material is your dress? It looks really soft!

I would conside the Vera Wang “Walking Veil” from the White collection at David’s Bridal.

Have you tried on a cathedral length veil with the dress? I think that would give a better idea of how it would like and if you like the look. Good luck!
