@FoxyBride14: I know the first two you listed. I had Canon D as my walk down the aisle, only got to know it from watching Father Of The Bride years ago.

We have yet to meet with the music director, so no final decisions yet. I know that I want to work in Handel’s Largo at some point, and I’m strongly considering Ave Verum Corpus for the Communion Hymn. What other selections will you be using?

Bridal Party: Wachet Auf (arranged for organ, J.S. Bach)

Bride’s Entrance: In dir ist Freude (BWV 615, J.S. Bach)

During Ceremony: Set Me As a Seal (SSAA arrangement, Rene Clausen)

Recessional: Improvisation sur le Te Deum (Charlies Tournemire)

This isn’t finalized, but this is my best guess as of right now 😛

I think I am the minority here by saying I refuse to walk down to Canon in D!  Way overdone!  Sorry.

Here’s my plan for my wedding:
Prelude:  Sheep May Safely Graze, Air (Water Music), Arioso
Moms/Processional:  Ave Maria (Schubert version)
Bridal Processional:  Arrival Of The Queen of Sheba or Zadok the Priest (both showing a nice contrast to the quieter Ave Maria)
Psalm:  The Lord Is Kind and Merciful
Gospel:  Celtic Alleluia
Receiving of gifts:  I Have Loved You
Communion:  Pan De Vida
Recessional:  O God Beyond All Praising
