I picked Bridget of Ireland because my maiden name is Irish and my great great grandmother’s name was Bridget.

I chose St. Elizabeth because my aunt’s name is Elizabeth…  Not very creative!

Cecilia. She is the patron saint of music and musicians, especially liturgical musicians, and that’s been a big part of my life since I was about 8 years old.

Saint Emiliana. I didn’t have a very good reason, I just liked the name! Now I wish I had chosen something a little more meaningful.

St. Clare of Montefalco

The life of St. Clare reminds us that we are all called to a life of prayer and dedication. Still, we must not expect or anticipate special favors. We are to be satisfied with the simple relationship we establish with God.

My confirmation patroness was St. Veronica Giuliani. Her last words were “Love has let Himself be found!” Her feast day was just recently.

St. Stanislaus, the Patron Saint of Poland.  My Polish heritage is very important to me, and I wanted to have a permanent connection to it!
