I have seen a number of posts around programs for a catholic nuptial mass but I can’t seem to find any examples.. My fiance was Anglican but has done the RCIA to convert so we will be having communion at our wedding.
I made our booklet on gettingmarried.ie but this very much presumes the guests are catholic and know what to do…
However, most of our guests are anglicans from my fiances side (and will have no idea what is going on) and although my side are catholic they are not native english for the most part, so will not be familiar with saying everything in church in English.. . I wanted the program to be as detailed as possible, when to stand, when to sit, when to kneel etc and to include all the wording for the guests that want to participate.
Would anyone be willing to share any good examples they have from their wedding?

@Mins: If you pm me your email, I can send you the one I’m working on for our wedding. I think I have most of the sit/stand/kneels – as well as the new mass translation responses 😉

I think it’s actually confusing to try to explain too much in the program about standing, sitting, etc. Non-catholics can follow what Catholics are doing or just respectfully sit which is always acceptable for a visitor to do.

@Mins: I am working on our ceremony program and we are having a traditional Catholic mass. Message me with your email if you would like to see our program thus far. It is a work in progress but it may help. I am totally like you, my fiance is cradle Catholic so his family will be fine, but I come from a protestant background so all of my family and friends will be totally lost. So we are making our program very detailed with all the responses and the stand ups/sit downs and stuff like that.
