There’s a bunch of versions online you can base your program off of- a good example is here: http://catholicweddinghelp.com/topics/catholic-wedding-program-template-mass.htm. However, if you want to go a bit more “modern”, I’ve made a version for our wedding based off the infamous Wolfpack template that’s been floating around the Bee. Ignore the line down the middle- it’s just so I can see where the fold will be. PM me with your email if you’d like the file- I made it in PowerPoint.

@future mrs Q:  I love this take! Only about half of our guests will be catholic. Do you mind if I pin this so I don’t forget when it is time to make ours?

@magglemay-2013:  sure, pin away! it’s based off of a pin anyway, just modified to accomidate the info needed to follow along with a Catholic mass 🙂

@future mrs Q

This is so awesome! But I noticed a typo – it’s gospel acclAmation, not acclimation.

Sorry to be the spelling police, but I’m personally a terrible speller, and would want someone to point it out to me!

@archybee:  thanks for catching that! We’ve still got about 2 months till the wedding, so I really haven’t proofed this yet, just made it one day b/c I was thinking about stuff that needed to be done and put it aside for a while.

Caught another spelling error – altAr, not alter.  Sorry to be another cop in the spelling police force. I’m sure you would’ve caught it, but just to make sure…Anyway, I love this! I’m getting married in December and I’ve started looking for nuptial mass programs, because my fiance and I are both converts, so we only have a couple other Catholics in our families, and I want to make sure they don’t feel too lost! Your explanations are great, and they look nice, too!

Re. editing, you might also want to adjust the capitalization on the different parts of the Mass so that it’s consistent, i.e. Liturgy of the Word, Gospel Acclamation, Liturgy of the Eucharist, Rite of Marriage, Communion, Nuptial Blessing, and the others should be capitalized the same way “Prayers of the Faithful” is. Also, not sure if it matters whether that one is singular or plural? I’ve always heard it called “PrayerS of the Faithful” or the “Intentions.”

Cute! Mine was more traditional, plus I didn’t put that much work into it.
