My first cycle was 28 days and the 2nd 36. This 3rd one looks like it will be similar in length to the 2nd (time will tell).
I don't have all the tools (yet?) but thought I could answer your q anyways.
its normal for ovulation to vary a little bit, so dont stress. :) i used the CBFM and i ovulated on slighty differnt days. (most of htem have been between day 13-17) One time i didnt ovulate til day 22! i havent been on the pill so i dont really know about that but i LOVE the CBFM.

I've often wished that there was not so much out there for me to "know" when it comes to having a baby. I am driving myself absolutely nuts, and the more "tools" I acquire to try to "know" as much as I can, which I thought would alleviate some of the wondering and obsession, just makes me even more batshit crazy.
I am on my first "true" cycle after coming off the pill. I stopped the pill in early June, had my white-pill-induced "period" then I ovulated/smiley faced on Day 10 and 11, according to my CB OPKs. Did not get pg, but one good thing was that on exactly CD 28, I started my period. I had been worried it would take ages, so glad for that.
Now I am using the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor, and just because I'm a wackadoo, also using the Clear Blue OPKs. I just completed my morning ritual, and I am starting to get a little concerned:
I am on CD 12, and today is my 3rd "high" on the monitor. I am still getting "blank faces" on the OPK. Should I be worried that I "smiley faced" on Day 10 last month, but haven't yet? Or is it typical to ovulate earlier when you first stop BC?
It's making me worried...Mainly bc I can feel things happening down there, slight cramping/tightness/etc., for the past day or so, but the OPK gives me no smiley face. And the Monitor just still reads high, but no peak/egg.
Just a case of my body getting back to normal? Obviously, I just have to "wait and see" if ovulation is just around the corner, a little later this month...but I'm just curious if anyone else has had similar situations....Thanks, ya'll!!!
