I know that normal ranges of Progesterone are varied, but….
I am un-medicated, and got a test at Cycle day 20 Progesterone test, (which was 7dpo according to OPK). The reason my GYN wanted me tested at CD20 is because my luteal phase is a little short.
Level was 9.5. I think 10 is what they like for un-medicated. Does that pretty much mean that I shouldn’t bother taking a pregnancy test this cycle? Am i basically out this month for a BFP?

I really have no real idea, but my gut would say no….BUT…at 7 dpo implantation would not be complete yet, so you might not be making tons of progesterone yet.

My first 7DPO blood draw my progesterone level was 8. My doctor said she couldn’t confirm I ovulated at that level, but she said it was possible (though unlikely) to get pregnant with levels that low.

Thanks ladies. GG – I didn’t even think about the possibility of implantation perhaps not happening yet. **PHEW ** I am still in!!! My M.D.’s nurse got back to me too, regarding whether or not I should start taking supplements for next cycle here’s her reply:
Hi MRSLILYBUGG (lol),
Actually, your progesterone does suggest ovulation therefore would have remaining lab tests done as ordered. It would not be indicated to supplement progesterone at this time.

So I guess in the meantime I will eat foods that raise progesterone.

Mine was 20 at 3 dpo. I don’t know if that helps at all since everyone is different!!!
