Hey gang! Here’s a picture of my venue below (decorated for a birthday party, not a wedding). It has extremely high ceilings, between 20-25 feet. I feel as though I need to hang something from the ceiling,
I have added a sample set up of what my table decor will look like. Colors are black, white and purple.
I can’t use electricity, so it needs to be something that can be battery lit or not need batteries. Paper lanterns are the easy choice, but I’m afraid that they will look to modern for my decor.
What do you all think?

My ceiling is similar with the same height. I am hanging battery powered lanterns from it that I got at the dollar tree. I am hanging over 100 of them, I really want it to have that night sky look.

That sounds pretty! Can you upload an image of one?

you actually have alot of modern elements going on! but there are tons of ways to decorate a ceiling or even just above the dance will add some serious visual interest! ran across these pics! some of them you could even make yourself with your colors!

I think paper lanterns would be great with the decor you have! It would add the perfect touch 🙂
And By The Way, I’m glad the red balloons wasn’t for a wedding.. I almost had a heart attack when I saw it. I was like, this needs a lot more than ceiling decor, haha!

These are the photos of mine that I got at dollar tree. I bought two stores out of them, LOL. In total I bought about 150.

You could use purple and white paper lanterns:
or those lovely round balloons:
or branches with lights or lanterns:
or grapevine balls with lights:
personally I tjhink these ones are a bit small
something more like this:

at tksjewelry: Wow! I can’t believe you got those at Dollar Tree! I’m going to check that out!
at julies1949: I love the idea of mixing purple and white! I also LOVE those balloons! I bet they would work because we could probably blow them up and then hang them upside down and not have to worry about heium!
I think I am going to buy both and simply just go hang them up at the venue and see which I like! Thanks!
