one of my guests is having her 50th birthday the same day we are having our wedding and i think i am going to leave her a card with a black balloon on her chair and that’s it so it doesn’t take away from our big day – but wanted to let her know we didn’t forget.

On our wedding day my uncle will turn 50 and my little cousin will be 7. We have asked the bakery doing our wedding cake to make a special cupcake for each of them – and will have the dj play “happy birthday” after we’ve cut the cake! I don’t think either of them will see it coming so hope they’ll be happily surprised!

my FMIL’s birthday is the following week, but she lives out of state so we will be singing happy birthday to her right after the cake cutting

We wanted a early november wedding, we ended up choosing November next year as FIs little sisters birthday is November 11. so it was either have it 10/11/2012 the day before her 18th or next year two days before her 19th. As much as it is our big day we didnt want to spoil the saturday night before her biggest birthday milestone. Plus this way she will be a legal adult at our wedding (shes our youngest guest at reception) so there will be no chance of recieving a fine if she drinks alcohol
