I was thinking about rocking my afro. But I think my mom just may pass out! Any other ladies thinking about rocking a natural do?
I don't have to worry about my mom or anyone for that matter. My hair is my natural hair and that's the way it's going to be.I'm napturally natural. left the crack a year ago and not ever want it again. The AA celebrities need to come out with it more and stop the madness. JMHO.. Sorry. I'm sick of seeing AA still cracking it up...
honestly i think alot of AA celebs use weave and wigs to cover up alot of past hair mistakes. i used to be natural - had braids and cute little fro, then my immune system revolted and i went bald. so now dont have much of a choice. I cant rock bald- so wigs it is! :)
for sure. I wouldn't rock bald either. lol. Ya, a lot can damage it and they get it done often. As they age I'm sure it will show up. Age does it to our hair even without the chemical blasts..:( I'm about to get into some avocado.Dr. Oz said it would help and beans and raisens for the iron that we lose.

for sure! I most definitely plan to weave it out, mostly because a lot of hairstyles call for it these days if you're not blessed (maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline) but I believe on your wedding day, you should have a look that you always wanted to, but felt silly going into the office or to Chili's with lol.
My MOH will have her hair similar to Swifts; I found some really good pictures of Sandra Bullock, Gabrielle Union, and Sanaa Lathan that'll make up my down bridal style.
I'm natural..but will definately weaving it up or braids or something b/c I dont' want to be bothered w/ my hair the night of the wedding or the day after or honeymoon.. I just want to get up and go and not have to worry about my hair being moist and keeping my water and glycerine bottle w/ me and all that jazz.. I'll save if for a regular day, but my wedding will be a dream day, so I'm gonna have no fuss, no drama hair day
I'm 6'1 and slim and I am going to rock some fierce heels so I don't want a updo really and too much hair going on around my face... but I think the styles below kinda reflect the different looks I may go for during my wedding day

@tytbody-Girl I have been off the CRACK for 4 years and all I do is rock my puff or twist outs. You think my hair would have grown on my momma by now...but it has not. It is just so sad that some people equate beauty with something that is not natural. I am just worried about what to do for the honeymoon. I do not want to have to lug all my hair supplies to St. Lucia!

I am concerned about the same thing. i dont want to have to deal with carrying a blow dryer, a straightener, a curling iron, shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner, pink oil moisturizer, hair grease, comb, brush, and clamps on a plane...sounds like a lot but thats what I need for my hair to survive when I leave it all natural

the way i want my hair i have only had a dream about it (i am so serious). i have yet to see it in a picture! i have seen similar styles but not THE WAY i want it. I will be rocking a weave for the wedding (tried like mad to grow my hair out for the last year, and it has grown considerably, but nowhere near the length/fullness I wanted to achieve to make a wedding updo work to my liking.) Once I find a picture, I will post!

I love Rihanna. I am one of her biggest fans, and her body is like a hanger, everything (almost!) that she wears always looks so good on her. When I saw her hair once, I cut the picture out of the magazine and kept in my purse or car for years and I knew I wanted it for my wedding day hair. I think it will look so beautiful with my dress (my avatar) and a birdcage veil.
