Putting a ribbon will definitely add a splash of color if you are planning to use a colored sash. You can also put petals all around the table if you don’t flowered centerpiece. You can use fake ones too if your tight on your budget. I love hurricane vases. Or maybe you can put different colored candles in the vases itself. Some white and others a different color maybe? What are your colors?

What about submerged flowers? You could use a single branch of fake orchids for each one since people won’t be able to touch them – also you don’t need a bunch of flowers.

Or if you don’t want flowers at all you could think of something else interesting that would float in the water.

We are doing these with vellum wrapped around the vase and then ribbon.
